Here, art is not only the finished result, but a complete journey that combines study, craftsmanship, and inner research. You will be welcomed by a sculptor with a rich and diverse artistic background. After graduating from an art institute and completing his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, he further specialized in the restoration of antique furniture, painting conservation, and traditional gilding techniques. These disciplines shaped his deep respect for materials, historical methods, and artistic continuity.During the visit, you will explore a fully active sculpture laboratory connected to the historic sculptural circuit of Pietrasanta and Carrara. In this space, clay models are carefully developed and then translated into marble using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Each stage of the process is explained in detail, allowing you to understand how a sculptural idea gradually becomes a finished artwork. One of the most fascinating parts of the visit is the plaster cast collection, which houses hundreds of models dedicated to sacred art. These works reflect years of iconographic research, international commissions, and a continuous dialogue between spirituality and form. Walking through this collection offers a rare glimpse into the creative evolution behind marble sculptures.Alongside the laboratory, the workshop also functions as a traditional “bottega” in the Renaissance sense of the word. It is a shared, multifunctional space open to young sculptors, emerging artists, and anyone interested in experiencing independent artistic work. This environment encourages learning, exchange, and collaboration, helping to preserve and renew a craft that risks disappearing in the modern world.Participating in this experience means slowing down and reconnecting with a way of creating rooted in patience, obsevatrion, and respect for materials. It is a unique opportunity to witness an ancient craft still alive today, practiced with authenticity, dedication, and deep cultural awareness.
