Piedmont

Piedmont is a region in northwestern Italy bordered by the Alps and known for its elegant cities, rolling vineyard landscapes, and rich culinary traditions. Its capital, Turin, was Italy’s first capital and remains an important cultural and industrial center. Piedmont is internationally renowned for wine regions such as Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato, famous for Barolo and Barbaresco wines, as well as for its truffles, hazelnuts, and refined gastronomy.
